User Name - Illegal Characters?

Hi There.

I'm changing my email address due to changes in the account conditions.

Well after making the changes the error message that pops up tells me that my user name has illegal characters - I assume it is the space between gtd & 2000 that is causing this?

How can I get around this?

Sorry, but you cannot get around this in the new version of our software. To update your profile in any way, we would have to shorten your user name to gtd2000.

Yep, it will be the space. Options are to either suck it up and not be able to change things, or contact the Anandtech Moderator by PM and ask them to change your username to remove the space, then you will be able to edit your account.
