user friendly DVD to ipod nano conversion software?

one of my friends got an ipod nano for christmas. frankly, she's computer illiterate. Is there a program that lets you like select what DVD sections you want to burn, with a choice? Like a user interface. An optional would be burning to mp4 (aka ipod nano) but that can always be done in another program. Basically what I want is to have a program where she does not have to go into the dvd drive and look for the VIDEO_TS files as she will have no clue.

Magic DVD Ripper (magicdvdripper.com)

It lets you select which chapters you want to convert. Gives you 5 free trials before you have to buy the software.
 
Also check out DVDFab HD Decryptor. It has pre-set options for converting to a portable device like that, but I've never used them. You may need to use the pay-version to really use those features, not sure.
