user end driven Browser refreshing- trying to buy tickets

A buddy of mine want to buy some Red Sox tickets which disappear in like two seconds after they appear online. Is there a way you can make the browser refresh every 5 seconds or so? He would like it if it didn't interfere with other programs so he could still get work done.
