User Account Creation - Folder redirection

Is it possible for all new created users to use a common directory for Application Settings, Desktop, My Documents folder, Local Settings, etc?
User authentication is either Novell or AD.

So, basically, no matter what username the person logs in with, he or she gets the same directory name in Documents and Settings, could even be "All Users" for all I care...

Oups, sorry for wrong placement.

Here are some more details
Basically, a user logs into a machine for the first time, and authenticates through NDS or AD. Normally, WinXP checks to see if a user already has a profile in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList , and if the user does not, it creates a folder in Documents and Settings and names it after the username. Windows then proceeds to copy everything from Default User folder into this new folder. Then it does who knows what else, and finally the user sees the desktop and can use the computer.

What I am interested in is having windows check to see if a user already has a profile, and either see it, under a different name.. So that instead of creating a directory with the name of the username, it uses a predefined directory, with all the defaults already in there, thereby removing the time it takes to copy all the defaults, and removing the need for complex settings of many applications.

Have you looked at mandatory profiles? Doesn't exactly fit your description but may fit what you're needing to accomplish.
