User abused my webmail service

Somebody signed up on my webmail service from an IP in the USA. This person sent out hundreds (maybe thousands) of the Nigerian scam emails. I checked my SMTP security, and I am not an open relay. They simply sent out mass email through a webmail account.

I have saved my maillogs, and web server logs. All the sent mail was left on the server as well. I've changed the password for the account so the user cannot login anymore, and I've removed my signup form until I design a new on where I can verify all who signup.

The IP and ARIN lookup result in the following:

ramuc# whois 216.250.221.8
Pan Am Sat PANAMSAT-COM (NET-216-250-192-0-1)
216.250.192.0 - 216.250.223.255
Easynet Concepts Inc EASYNET (NET-216-250-221-0-1)
216.250.221.0 - 216.250.221.255

If panamsat.com is really a scam, do I just report them to Easynet?

Thanks for your assistance.

Actually... I was just more curious if the whois lookup rang a bell with anyone. I'll just report the IP and block em. I was curious if this ISP is a known
offender or not.

Well you can DoS them, you can report them to their ISP, you can do jackshit and just ban them as well.
I would not do it. If caught DoS is a bigger offense than spaming.
