Regarding binaries:

1.) What is an SFV file?

2.) Ho do I read an NFO file?

3.) Is it a bad idea to post files if I access usenet through my ISP (i.e. a server through which I am not anonymous)?

TIA!

SFV is a checksum file for a collection of RARs. It verifies that they all pass the CRC check.

NFO files can be read with word or notepad (i use notepad).

Your call :)

what kind of files do you want to post?
You could use an anon usenet posting service.
NFO files can be read with notepad, they are usually found in zip files containing cracks, serials etc

Um...so what exactly do you use the SFV for? I have d/l'ed many a thing with an SFV file where parts still failed the cheksum.

Also, could you direct me to an anon usenet posting service? Such a place would not log my IP address?
