From the fine, fine folks at http://us.imdb.com:
Melissa Gilbert was reelected president of the Screen Actors Guild on Tuesday, defeating SAG Treasurer Kent McCord. James Cromwell was elected secretary treasurer. Gilbert received 15,670 votes to McCord's 13,242. Gilbert, who waged an unsuccessful battle to merge SAG with the broadcasters union AFTRA earlier this year, said that she was surprised by her margin of victory. She said that she viewed her election as "a vote of confidence in us to go ahead with a new form of consolidation."
Funny - I don't see any sag.
And this just in - Billy Crystal will host the this year's Oscars.
