Useless debate about cartoons!

We've all probably seen every episode of every season, of all three cartoons.

So whats the best?

The Long standing classic of the Simpsons?

The no boundaries or gravity limited Futurama?

The ideal family of the new millenium Family Guy?

I think i have to vote for futurama only because i like the science of things.

I voted for Futurama. The Simpsons hasn't been very good for that last... 5 years or so. Family Guy is just so absurd. Futurama has cool science and technology references 🙂

Family Guy is right in line with my kind of humour, so it's the only one that can deliver hearty and plentiful laughs in EVERY episode.
The other two are great in their own way, but I can't find them nearly as funny.

This seems to be an ongoing debate around here. There is no way I can choose the best, because they are all great in different ways. I guess I would choose Simpsons because its just been my favorite show of all time.

I voted for Futurama. The quality of the animation was so high (they used 3D rendering for many scenes) and the funny was second to none.

I am the biggest Simpson fan in the world, but I really think they should have canceled the Simpsons and kept Futurama. The Simpsons have run out of plots, but the possibilities for Futurama were endless.

simpsons because it is just classic

futurama is right up their too

FG is funny the first time but it looses a lot of its appeal after you watch it again

the simpsons and futurama i can watch over and over again and not get tiresome

family guy is great
i never watched simpsons alot :/ but its good
futurama was great, i put it a notch below family guy...well half a notch

Futurama is barely better than Simpsons to me. Both are far better than Family Guy. I really dislike the graphics of the Family Guy. Maybe it would be a good show if I were blind, but I'm not. I'm watching TV, not listening to the radio - thus the animation better be good for the show to be good. Plus I think I miss a lot of the jokes. I just can't get into that show.

I prefer Family Guy because its the funniest of hte three IMO.

Family Guy has a way of just making you life by having things in there that will make you say "Now why the fvck was that in there?"

IE: The Koolaide Guy jumping in the court room when Peter is on trial for abusing welfare.

Its just the small things that put it head and shoulders above the Simpsons.

I have never watched Futurama, it just didn't appeal to me.

All 3 of them are funny, but Futurama is more then just funny. Some episodes were very moving.

I got a little choked-up after Fry decides not to clone his dog. He assumes the dog had forgotten about him, but the dog really spent his entire life waiting for Fry to come back.

Also the episode when Fry moves the stars for Leela, and they get blown up before she has a chance to see.

And the time when Fry thought that Yanse (his brother) stole his name. He was so mad at his brother for getting famous, and in the end it was his nephew that was famous. Yanse named his son in honor of Fry.

None of the other cartoon shows had moments like that.

Even though futurama and family guy are currently more entertaining than watching the simpsons, I don't think I can ever say that I prefer them over the simpsons.

1. Family Guy (all the references just crack me up 😀)
2. Simpsons (can always watch a few episodes of it)
3. futurama (couldn't really get into it, even though bender was hilarious.)

Bingo, same here. It's a freakin cartoon, why do I have a lump in my throat?

The episode with Fry's dog is one of my favorites. I love it when everyone tries to jump into the lava pit. No one is listening to the professor, he says 'Professy, Lava! Hot!' and Bender being made of the most righteous of metals, dolomite

I love all 3. I think I have more fondness for Simpsons though, because its been on so long and has given me sooo many laughs

I would own futurama and maybe the simpsons were they not so prohibitively expensive.

This is a tough call. The family guy was better during its first few seasons, but the simpsons has such longevity that it has become part of pop culture. Futurama is certainly the least favorite for me. It did have some really funny moments, but other times it wasn't all that great.

I like Family Guy and Futurama alot, but probably more so Family Guy.

The Family Guy is 90-95 % of the time funny, but every once in a while a segement goes on too long or it is some off the wall joke that very few people get. However, I love dumb comedy and it has plent of it.

Futurama is in the 80-85% range. I think the plot is usually pretty good and not as dumb as the Family Guy, and its funny moments are awesome. Bender and the Lobster Loser Dude (I always forget his name) are awesome characters.

The Simpsons are around 70%.Definantly a classic, but the 95-2000 seasons were the best. The new seasons are pretty good at best, seems like they are running low on material. It is worth watching for the funny moments it does have, and I like the huge selections of great characters the show has to offer: Moe, Chief Wiggums, Krusty, Groundskeeper Willy, The Captain, etc...................

"Robot House !"
