Usefulness of DVI output

I am going to take advantage of X2 price drop. X2 3800 with a built-in graphics motherboard. I have read good reviews on Biostar TForce 6100, but it does not have DVI. When will I need DVI? Thanks.

If you're using an LCD, particularly a high resolution one (I'd say 20" or larger), then DVI usually helps a lot in those situations. If you're using a CRT you don't need it, on a smaller LCD (say, 1280x1024 resolution or lower) it isn't quite as crucial either.
