Used SSD's...

I'm seeing quite a few used SSD's on AT and other forums. I'm looking to update my Thinkpad T61 (Win7 64-bit, SATA 1 (SATA 2 w/ bios update), T7500 (Core 2 2.2ghz 4MB L2), 2GB DDR2, 640GB WD Scorpio pulled from an i5 laptop).

Most of which are 32GB indilinx based SSD's. Do these support TRIM or any other modern tweaks that will keep the drive quick? Is it enough space for Windows 7, Office and web browsers? Most of these drives are form mid 2010 to early 2011.

Indilinx drives support TRIM if they have a later version of firmware (I think it's 1517 or later)
