Used laptop lcd has a yellowish tint to it...

I just bought a Thinkpad T20 off of ebay and got it today. Everything seems to work fine, except the lcd has this yellowish tint to it. I'm at a loss as to what might be causing it.

I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience with a thinkpad LCD, and if so, what did you do to remedy it?

If someone regularly used alcohol or an alcohol-based cleaner to clean the screen the plastic cover probably turned yellow. Nothing you can do about it except get a new LCD. Don't know what else might cause that...

Might just be due to normal wear and tear. The LCD coating that we touch can change color due to heat, especially when the LCD is on all the time even with the LCD lid closed. Heat is being trapped. I can see on my laptop there's a small patch that seems a little bit yellowed out.
