And it worked GREAT! I had to drive from Grand Rapids, MI to Lansing, MI. Lansing is full of one way streets and is a PITA to drive in but Google got me there without a single problem.

The only thing I could ask for would be a "Go Home" button. I didn't see anything close to that when I was ready to head back, so I just had it navigate me to my son's location (thanks to Latitude).

I was wanting a GPS...now I just want a window/dash mount for my myTouch.

Just be careful & double check your addresses, it uses AI to guess where you want to go sometimes if you're not careful, I've ended up lost as hell using it.

It's pretty crude compared to even the cheapest stand alone GPS's

Really? I sold nav systems for years (though it has been 3 years since I quit) and this worked just as well as the Garmins, Magellans, and Telenav based ones that I have used.

I'm not saying you are wrong...I'm just saying that it worked great for someone like me who rarely needs a GPS.

/sticks out man chest. I don't need no stinking directions!

I use mine nearly daily because it's so convenient and I don't know where jack shit in LA is...

I miss the "home" option, and the ability to use surface streest VS freeways, there are a lot of refinements they have to do on it...

What is the home option? Do you mean a button that navigates you to a stored home address no matter where you are?

This is not 100% the same but with Android you can store a shortcut on your homescreen that does this exact thing.

add a contact for 'home' with your address.
then use the voice search "navigate to home"

I've used it a couple times. Pretty useful for what it is, although if I needed a GPS all the time I'd get a dedicated unit. As is I rarely need one, but it's nice to have a backup just in case.
