I am looking for an used SUV. I saw this ad on CL for an extremely low mileage, 1 owner, no accident with the all options. The kicker is he advertised a couple thousands lower than other cars with similiar condition. I called the car owner and found out his lease will be up in April and he needs to buy the car off the bank first. He didn't want to disclose how much he still owns but I figure the residual value should be above his asking price. I am thinking to myself why doesn't he just return the car back to the dealer and be done with it. Is there a catch? He's 2 hours away and didn't want to drive 4 hours for nothing.
