Hi folks,
setting up a RAID1 for the first time.
when selecting "enable write cache always", I get three warnings telling me that data could be lost or corrupted if the controller loses power, and the battery backup is either at low power or not operable, and that I should not use it.
but these drives have 32MB of cache and I really want to use it!!
I'm just wondering if disabling write cache is standard procedure when using RAID1 mirroring?
thanks!
