Use wireless DSL router/modem with cable modem?

I recently switch to cable modem. Can I use the wireless DSL router/modem or do I have to buy a wireless router?

If you have a stand alone Router it would work with Cable as well.

If it is a combo DSL Modem/Router, it probably useless for cable connection.

Post a name and a model number, may be someone would have a better idea.
