Use two cards non sli: 8600gt gtx 460/480

My current graphics card (8600 GT) connects to my tv by an s-video cable.

I would like to get either a gtx 460 or gtx 480 however if I do I won't be able to connect to my tv anymore since there is no s-video on those cards. (older tv).

Can I have my gtx 460/480 and 8600 GT plugged in at the same time. Then when I want to watch movies plug the s-video into the 8600 GT, and when I want to use my montior unplug the s-video from the 8600GT and plug in my montior into the gtx 460/480?

I know there are converters that you can buy to go from the hdmi that the gtx's have to s-video. However I don't want to do that because eventually I will buy an tv that takes hdmi, but that will be farther down the road and I don't want to sacrafic my netflix in the mean time.

That should be doable as long as your motherboard has two PCI-e graphic slots. You can keep everything connected; you don't have to disconnect anything.
