Use the Retail AMD HSF or Buy a new one??!? for 1.2 GHz

I just bought a new retail 1.2 GHz Athlon. The HSF unit it comes with is quite a bit bigger than the CPU itself. Looking in the manual, it appears there is thermal grease on the HS under a sticky tab that you peel off before attaching it to the CPU. The question: should I use this HSF or purchase a new one. I don't plan to overclock, although if I did OC, I'd probably get a new HSF for that. Will my CPU run OK with this unit?

yeah, it's okay to use the original HSF, there is no reason to buy another one since you already go it.

My advice is to use artic silver instead of those thermal pad that come with the retail HSF. it can keep your cpu cooler that way, make sure to remove the thermal pad from your retail HSF before using artic silver.

I have this fan! It is pretty quiet on my 1.33 Tbird. I do wan't a golden orb but I'm not sure it will fit on my board.
