I have 8 yrs old PC but only with PATA. I have a newer SATA HD (internal) and I have a PCI slot. What card do I need?

you are better off getting a SATA to PATA adapter which lets you use a SATA drive on a PATA only system. it just converts the signal to PATA for you to use. most of them need a 4 pin floppy connector or equiv to work properly though, just FYI

I have this one reviews on it were great, I have problems with it. But it's probably just something in my system. It doesn't work with one of my HD's, but with the one it does work with it works flawlessly.
