Use of the word Fiancee

Mosh is right. If you are engaged use the right word. Besides, it sounds cooler. Fiancee is so much better than G/F or Wife. Enjoy it while you can.

Fiancee is fine. It's a more accurate description than girlfriend IMO because she is soon to be your wife...she's obviously more than just a girlfriend.

Or should I use bf/gf instead?
if you are engaged to marry a girl it's called your fiancée
and if you are engaged to marry a guy it's called your fiance.

call me stupid but I actually didn't know that

It's OK. Everyone already knew you were stupid.
