Use my ps3 or bluray ROM

Hey guys I own a ps3 and I love the bluray that it has..but I was wondering if I could see improvements if I got a bluray ROM and for my computer and watched it on my monitor instead. Also.. if this was better.. should I upgrade to 4gb of ram using windows xp over my 2gb that I have now?

2GB vs. 4GB doesn't matter for blu-ray, and isn't needed for XP.

The PS3 is considered one of the best blu-ray players so you probably won't do better with PC DVD playback.

amm i have both and the PC Blu-ray playback is better and its cheaper. But if you already have a PS3 , then why bother getting a blu-ray player for computer unless its a blu-ray writer for backup or other reason.

Unless you have a 1080p monitor that you can hook up the PS3 to (I've got my PS3 connected to my monitor right now), you're better off watching movies on a TV with 1080p.
