Use My Mobo's SATA IDE drivers?

I just got my drive situated, will installing my motherboards SATA IDE drivers hurt anything?

AFAIK, your SATA drive needs drivers to work correctly. i have a SATA drive on my main system as the boot drive and i had to install SATA drivers in order to install WinXP. thus... install them.

So your drive is working? If so, then you already have the drivers installed. Otherwise, get the latest version off the web and install them.

It works but I never installed any drivers, it just works off the default motherboard abilities.
