I have a laptop with pretty much everything

Fingerprint
TPM
sd card reader

Just trying to find what I can put in the express slot. I'm thinking of getting a GPS card or something like that. What's a good use for it?

I think those Bluetooth express card mice are pretty cool. They store/charge in the slot and even though they are a bit weird to use I think they're much better than most touch pads.

The main thing for me would be high speed backup to a USB external drive.

I too have Bluetooth, Fingerprint, SD Card, and eSATA. I don't need GPS - have a good Garmin unit plus Smartphone.

A video Expresscard might be entertaining.

This. I picked up a WD Passport external the other week. My desktop has USB 3.0 - compared with my old IDE in a case USB 2.0 drive, the Windows write speed went from 18-20 MB/s to about 35-50 MB/s. It could even be faster, but I haven't tried with the stock cable (from reviews, some USB 3.0 cables are mediocre). It's made me think about getting a USB 3.0 expresscard for my laptop that will sit flush with the slot.
