Hey guys I know this has been covered before with PS3 media server but I don't want that. First reason is that it sucks and I already have my computer hooked up to my TV so I don't need to stream something to my ps3 and have two machines running.
Is it possible to turn it into a just media player like a wdtv live? I don't care about playing games or using netflix on it. All I want is mkv/divx playback. A newsgroup box would be nice but that is asking for too much, I am sure.
Google told me that XBMC won't work on it so I did not know where else to look.
I tried to sell the thing but I cant get anyone to take me up on it. I would sell it for 25 bucks if someone gave me the cash lol. So I thought I might as well use it for something other than a paper weight.
If you guys have any thoughts I would appreciate it.
