I've seen apps out there that will allow the Pocket PC to control a TV with the infrared port. It does this by capturing the signals from the regular TV/DVD remote and memorizing them.
My question is whether there's an app out there that lets me use a TV remote to control my PC via the infrared port on my PDA. I dock my PDA in the cradle and when i hit "play" on my remote, it sends it to the PDA, which performs some funtion on the PC. Like play winamp, for example.
Yeah, so i'm too cheap to buy a USB infrared receiver & remote. If this can't be done, anyone know a good remote for win XP? I hate watching DVD/DivX movies and having the sound blast during an action scene and then be whisper-quiet during dialogue.
