USBPORT.SYS BSOD

Recently rebuilt my machine w/ new D975XBX2 mobo. Had been playing DOD:S for an hour or two when I got a BSOD. Gave me an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error. Did not create a minidump or a log of the event. I wrote down the pertinent info on the screen, however.

The stop address was 000000D1 (0x53646182, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xB95E5B7A)

It cited the USBPORT.SYS as being responsible for the problem.

The only two devices I have on USB atm are my mouse (Logitech G5) and keyboard (Microsoft Ergonomic 4000). I don't have any of the Logitech software installed, but I do have Microsoft IntelliType on here.

Not sure where to go from here. I'll try removing and reinstalling USB drivers, I suppose. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, good news and bad news. Good news is Microsoft actually knows about this issue. Bad news is they haven't posted a fix yet. Here's the link. I'll keep looking for solutions:

OK, upon further review, as they say, this board is not without its problems. Here's a thread you should read:

One suggestion to resolve errors that plague this board is to "disable core multiplexing" in the bios. Read the thread, though.
