I guess if you need something ultra small, this product may be right for you. Otherwise, you can put together a much cheaper alternative. I just
put an old 4 gig SCSI HD into an external case and then bought a SCSI to USB converter. Works great under Win2k and I assume XP. Total cost
was $25 (HD) + $5 (external case from swap meet) + $10 (Xircom SCSI-to-USB converter from TigerDirect) = $40. Also, there are those external
USB cases that will take IDE HD's.

If you have a digital camera, chances are you have extra compact flash or smart media cards. This can be used for files as long as you have a USB card reader. Certainly not as compact as these USB drives, but still pretty small and convenient for people that already have extra flash cards. I've seen these readers for under $20. Sometimes Newegg has them in refurb for $15 which includes shipping.
