USB3

[NuroMancer]

I just heard some co-workers talking about USB 3. I didn't realize that anything had come out about it. Is there a standard? What are the differences? etc

Basically USB "3.0" = wireless USB, supposedly up to 1gbps. We'll see. There's been some demos at shows of WUSB hard drives and such; it looks promising!

They were just talking like you could install software to the drive and that sounded very interesting to me.
