USB3 Card Reader Problem

I have tried 2 different USB3 card readers and and the read speed is the same as my USB2 reader, no improvement.I have checked all motherboard firmware and connections.I am using a SDHC Memory Card Extreme Pro Class 10 UHS-I memory card. I am stumped on this one.
Any help?

The card might be rated at 90+ MB/s but in reality might only be 1/2 of that in real world transfers. Even if the card actually performed that fast there is no guarantee that the makers of the card readers would implement a design that runs at the maximum speed. They could be cutting the speed to maximize data integrity, not to mention compatibility with lower speed cards. In other words, the USB probably isnt even the bottleneck.
