USB2.0 ports registering as "Non-High Speed USB ports"

I thought I had finally got my computer back up to the way it was pre-format, but when I plugged in my Creative Jukebox Zen USB2, Windows tried to install it but it gave me an error saying that I had a high-speed USB device plugged into a non-high speed USB port. I don't even have USB1.1 ports, to my knowledge. I have an ASUS P4P800 Deluxe mobo, and it has 4 USB 2.0 ports on it. I'm assuming there are some drivers I need to install? Glancing through the contents of the user's manual for my mobo, I didn't see anything mentioned about USB2.0, but I might have overlooked it.

The P4P800 is an Intel chipset. Checking ASUS's site and Intel's USB 2.0 section, your USB 2.0 drivers should be installed if you're on XP SP1+ or 2k SP4. However, if you have not yet installed the Chipset drivers for your motherboard, then it is possible that Windows hasn't been able to detect that your USB ports are 2.0. Additionally, make sure that your BIOS configuration is set to allow High-speed USB if the option exists (both low-speed and full-speed are part of USB 1.1).

I seem to have got it working. I am already running SP1a for XP Pro, and I already updated my mobo chipset drivers. I checked Windows Update and downloaded a recommended update for USB 1.1 and 2.0 detection issues. I guess that did the trick. Appreciate it. 🙂
