Hi, I bought Apple's keyboard that uses USB2.0 (it has integrated USB2.0 hub in itself).
Few people have reported that it won't work in BIOS or POST screen during boot, even when Legacy USB is enabled in BIOS. This seem to be case for P35 and probably earlier chipsets.
Thanks to internet, it seems that problem is USB2.0.
The other known keyboard with this problem is Logitech' Illuminated keyboard, many people are reporting same issue: can't access BIOS, no key will work until OS loads.
Solution? BIOS update fix from mobo maker. If there's no fix, I'd think connecting it to an USB1.1 hub would work. Unfortunately, newer boards do not have any USB 1.1 ports.
