Anyone actually have theirs shipped yet? They charged me two days ago and there haven't been any updates yet.

Slightly OT, but they also have other coupon + GCO deals like the free 512MB flash drive on page 6 of their promotions. I ordered it last Thursday and haven't received it yet. GCO said it shipped on Sunday the 18th. Kinda weird to have something ship on a Sunday, but ya never know.

I received my item today from shop4tech. I ordered on the 15th, they shipped on the 18th, and I received it today the 23rd. Ruffly 9 days from ordering to having item in hand. Still for cheap/free stuff ya cant really complain.

Mine arrived yesterday. Actually works pretty decently, considering the price. Even in low light.

352x288 image resolution kind of kills it for me, even my older webcams do higher, but for faster transmission that might not be a bad resolution.

Well... it's worth about the $2 I spent. Image quality is pretty poor, even compared to my 1999 vintage Intel Webcam. For the price though, it's still a great deal... how often can you actually get anything with ANY value for $2, except for at a fast food restaurant.

On VERY INTERESTING thing though is the focusing. They make some claim about how close you can focus, but if you simply continue to turn the lens (the way you set focus), you can get the focus so close (distance from the end of the lens to the subject) that you can't even get light on the subject. I was able to focus to the point of laying the lens directly on the screen of my LCD and focus on just a few pixels... the only reason I could do that is because the LCD makes it's own light, so none had to come in from the sides.

Ultimately, I think I'll throw this in the little compartment of my laptop bag with my other accessories, like a USB light, USB -> Serial cable and USB fan. Wonder if I'll ever actually use it.
