USB TV Tuner - Sound / Audio Question

I picked up a Leadtek Winfast USB II TV tuner device. I'm happy with the picture quality and most things with it overall, but I can't get audio to work hooked up to my laptop. My laptop, like most laptops, has a headphone port and a microphone port. There is no line in port. How do I get audio with the video? Can I hook up the audio out port of the USB TV Tuner to the microphone in port of the laptop? I tried this with no luck. Is there som special setting I need to adjust?

Or are there any USB TV Tuners that deliver audio through the USB port?

Any guidance would be appreciated

That's weird. I have the Leadtek USB II Deluxe tuner and I hear sound via the USB. I didn't have any setup to do on my notebook either. Upon searching Leadtek's site, maybe this might help:

"WinFast USB II Deluxe supports USB audio only in Windows XP" (Source: LeadTek FAQ)

I'm not sure what that specifically means. Wish I could be of help. Good luck

Edit: Oh yeah - you could email LeadTek. Just make sure your email isn't Yahoo or Hotmail. Dunno why they won't respond using those domain - use Coolgoose.com if necessary.

Hmm, that could be the problem then. I'm on Windows 2000 SP4.

Any USB tv tuners that provide sound thru the USB port on Win 2k?
