There's an issue that I have where I can't copy any files to a usb storage device, in this case an external hard drive connected via USB. However, I can copy files from the external hard drive on to the computer without any issues. It seems like when I try to copy a file to the external hard drive, windows vista will allow a very little piece of the file to transfer, but then the drive completely disappears or spontaneously disconnects.
Has anyone had a similar issue or can shed some light?
