USB to IDE Adaptor

I thought of buying this adapter USB to IDE Adaptor to connect my cd/dvd writer and maybe the HD. Does it worth the try?

If USB offers the throughput you need/want then yes.

I've been thinking of picking up one of these as well, and the reviews on the Bytec adapter at Newegg seem to be pretty good.

It's way cheapper to get one of this things instead of an external case for HD or DVD RW.
