USB to HDMI Converter

Hi,
I have just seen a press-release on engaget about Atlona USB to HDMI, do yuo guys have any idea how well it works? I want to connect my laptop to Samsung 46'' and tv has no VGA input, but plenty of HDMI connectors. What do you think?

Did you read this part:
"Resolutions supported up to UXGA 1600x1200 or 720p"

Is that res high enough for you?

What will you be doing with this? Watch movies or something?

i think it's better than 480i s-video out that i have to use from laptop. Yes, i wanted to watch movies that i download on the big screen

Yeah it's pretty expensive. Here's a VGA to HDMI connector but it's even more expensive:

Does the TV have a DVI input at all?

I guess if it's what you want to do and you don't mind spending the money then go for it. If you buy it then post back here with your thoughts.

That's much better. OP that might be better than the USB one you were looking at...it seems to be able to do most resolutions.
