I believe that is called a PCI card. USB is not compatable with Firewire.

A PCI card wouldn't exactly be adapting USB to Firewire would it? Thanks though, I didn't know they weren't compatible and I was hoping to get a solution that didn't require a screwdriver.

Yeah, the're just different formats for connecting devices. They could build an addapter to effectively translate between the two, but it's simpler just to add the one you don't have.

Here, lemme rephrase:

Evadman is lazy and tries to get his point across in as few words as possable. In the sentance above, "I believe that is called a PCI card. USB is not compatable with Firewire." I am trying to convey 2 points. #1. USB and firewire are not compatable, and while a translater would be possable, I know of no one who sells one. #2. the only Firewire adapter that you will find would be a PCI card, as stated in #1.

Hope that helps ;)

Being the laziest man in America, quite possibly the world, I understand. Thanks.
