USB Thumb Drive & KeePass

Well,

I seem to waste a lot of CD-R's transferring data between my home & office, other co-workers computers, and other various places. I thought having a USB ThumbDrive would be fairly handy for doing some transferring, but couldn't find one that really fit my criteria for being a durable, compact, and convenient. Well, i ran across the SanDisk Cruzer last night and i just picked up one of their 512mb models, kickass! It works very slick, already used it three times today on the job downloading drivers, transferring print work, and storing files for a trip.

I also saw a clip on the Screensavers about a password utility called KeePass that allows you to 'safely' store passwords. There's some cool features like the ability to use your thumb drive as the 'master key' for all your passwords. Meaning, i can store an encrypted password on the thumb drive that will open access to my database of passwords. Very slick - saves me a lot of time.
