USB support with MOBO

I have a Soyo 5ehm and i installed a generice Usb connector to the USB on the mobo.. I turned teh USB in in the bios and still my scanner program can't find the usb device and win2k can't fing the drivers?? wtf is going on???

Isn't here a VIA usb fix and stuff.. do you use the 4in1 stuff. Someone here knows for sure..

Hmm, i had the exact same motherboard for 2 years. And i'll tell you right, now, i never got USB working on it. Even though windows detected it, it never seemed to work. Perhaps we purchased the wrong cables for it?
