I tried this thread in Computer Help a couple of weeks ago, and never got an answer. If this is the wrong sub-forum for this thread please just delete!

I would like to clear the histry of any usb devices (sans mouse/keyboard/webcam) plugged into my system. I know each device plugged in leaves entries in the registry, but how do I locate and get rid of them?

Also, are there places in the registry that keep track of all .exe's ever run on the system? If so, how do I locate, and then purge that history?

Lastly, once these actions are complete, is there any way I could keep the system from accepting any USB devices other than ones I specify? (As in if somebody else were walk up to my PC and put their USB drive in, it will not work for them)
