USB Resources All Used Up???

Sorry - I know this is kind of a Hardware Forum Post but I had a neuron miss-fire and it was posted here. Although the error message is OS specific if I need to defend myself!

I got this error message on startup (Win2K) that says one of my USB devices cannot start (a Logitech USB QuickCam 3000 - sweet cam) because the system has no more allocatable USB resources to devote to it. What's the deal? I thought you could have 127 devices on one USB controller as long as they have their own power supply. Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks!

You can check the resource allocation for USB devices by going into the device manager. Go into the USB Host Controller Properties and have a look on the Advanced tab. It should give you details of usage there.
