USB Problems with BX Master

Its not a large problem as it comes and goes..but using the Linksys USB network adapter I have been experienceing lockups with my cable modem..not the system itself...only the network connection..if I unplug it and plug it back in it will redetect and work fine for a while..I didnt have the problem on my Aopen board but have with this BX Master, one BX master before this and an Abit BE6 II.. some days the problem is very minimal and some days it occurs often... just a pesky problem I would like to solve. Thanks for any ideas.
Also I use an USB mouse, keyboard, gamepad, monitor control, 2 hubs, and have no problems with any other USB device.
