Hi, I need help with something. I have a MSI K8M NEO-V socket 754 motherboard. So what happened was, I plugged a digital camera into one of the front USB and a few seconds later I smeeled burning. I shut off the computer, open the case and come to find out the wires connecting the front USB ports from the case have melted. So, I disconnect them. So ever since then when I plug a mouse or keyboard or camera Windows says it cannot recognize what it is. The wierd thing is the printer still works and it is also USB.I now use PS2 for mouse and keyboard. Everything else works fine from the motherboard. Are the USB connections fried and if I want USB I will have to get a new motherboard. Thanks for your help.
