USB problem with A8nSLI Deluxe

unable to detect the USB to PS2 controller and USB Harddisk
(it works in other system)

Need more info. USB 2.0 needs to have at least WinXP +SP1 before you install the usb drivers that came with the board. If you install WinXP +SP2, you don't even need to install the USB drivers that ship with the board. You will have all sorts of USB problems otherwise.

please find my installation procedure below

1. install XP w/o sp
2. windows update to sp2
3. install the nforce driver 6.39

the device is usb 1.0

If it's a usb port on your computer case it might be the case where you installed the usb extension cable incorrectly on the motherboard. If you're plugging it into port that's connected directly to the motherboard and tried every single port then it's possible that you have a bad board that is otherwise working fine except for the usb ports.
