Just built a computer for my brother and have gotten everything working except for the usb 2.0 drivers. I have installed both the drivers that came with the board and new ones for the 680i chipset. With both when I insert a flash drive I get an error saying this device could perform faster.. if you put it in a high speed usb slot and then when I go to look at the usb port list it says I have no high speed usb ports installed. I have installed SP2 so that is not an issue. Any ideas?

Since the PC is new, wipe the HDD and clean install WXP SP2. The OS should natively detect and load USB 2.0.
