Just got a cannon bubble jet USB printer. Is the faster USB 2.0 USB cable any better than the 1.x when it comes to printing? I know that it's much much faster transfer is great for mp3 players, but i didn't know if it would make a difference with printers, any ideas?

good question

i've never really noticed any speed differences between USB versus parallel port printers...so I would say that a faster USB connection really wouldn't make much difference

Short answer - no! USB 2.0 cables are backward compatible. Unless you have a 2.0 controller and a 2.0 device, it serves no added purpose. Little by little, some USB devices are beginning to emerge. If you had a USB 2.o printer and a USB 2.0 controller in your computer, then that cable would be very important. Get it as a growth port. :)
