Just wondering if anyone knew specs for a question I had. I've got a BB usb power plug and cradle at work and occasionally use it to charge the nano. However the adaptter seems to have just died. Just curious if the adapter died an eaarly death from being used by the nano?

Probably not. Power plugs are normally digitally regulated. They can only provide X amount of current, a particular device usually cant draw too much and ruin them.
Also, if the device in question requires too much power it may actually drain slowly rather than recharge if you leave wifi running or whatever.
Thats why I like Androids power bar. I can disable everything and charge much faster.

Yeah, I agree with Shortylickens. Probably not.

Sometimes super cheap power plugs use the device they are charging as the current regulator and then sticking something that pulls a lot of power could overheat and blow the voltage converter. But that's very rare, and would be something wtih a very poor level of electrical engineering. Most regulators are as Shorty said and they regulate themselves.
