USB Port Problem

I have an Intel D845GBV motherboard and every time I plub in my iPod to the USB port it says that a high speed USB device is connected to a low speed port. This board has USB 2 and thios happens even if I plug into the rear direct board ports too. Any suggestions?

Which OS are you using? Windows XP SP-1 and above have official support for USB 2.0. Try downloading USB 2.0 drivers.

Win xp with SP1 and I tried updating drivers too.

Check in device manager under USB, there should a something listed such as "Enhanced USB Controller" listed. If not, which we can assume not.....then it's gotta be either driver or bios setting.
Double check in BIOS and see if High-speed usb is listed.
