Hi guys,
My Front I/O panel fried my usb hdd and Usb modem stick :|. I want to know if there is a way to fix those fried usb connectors on HDD and modem stick ?

Now, I figured out that the problem with that killer usb port was that Front panel was not connected properly to the motherboard. After connecting it properly it is working fine.

I couldn't find a fix for it anywhere, most of the time it is USB port on Mobo that is defective, but that is not a case with my problem.

Thanks

If the USB port was incorrectly wired, and you fried the peripherals connected to it or them, there really is no fix. Just replace.

Peripherals still receive power because leds are flashing and hdd is spinning, but are not being recognized by system in any way.
Can i replace (solder) burnt parts with new ones?

once you fry a device it stays that way especially with a device that is full of semiconductors,,,,as Mr corkyg said ..
