I posted this information in a reply already, however I thought that people could use it if they ever needed it ;)

There are a few different types of USB connector and IEEE1394 port pin layouts. They are as follows:

USB type A pin Assignment (flat female connector)
Pin 1 - (VBUS) (color RED) - Power
Pin 2 - (D-) (Color White) - Data -
Pin 3 - (D+) (color Green) - Data +
Pin 3 - (D+) (color Green) - Data +

USB type B pin Assignment (square Female connector)
Pin 1 - (VBUS) (color red) - Power
Pin 2 - (D-) (color White) - Data-
Pin 3 - (D+) (color green) - Data+
Pin 4 - (GND) (Color Black) - Ground

Mini-USB type A/B Pin Assignment (OTG or On The Go single rectangle connector)
Pin 1 - (VBUS) (color RED) - Power
Pin 2 - (D-) (Color White) - Data -
Pin 3 - (D+) (color Green) - Data +
Pin 4 - (ID) (Type A - GND: Type B - NC)
Pin 5 - (GND) (Color Black) - Ground

For Firewire or i.link connector (IEEE 1394a-1995)

Firewire/i.Link 6 Pin Connector - found on most PC's
Pin 1 - (Power) - Power (18V - 25V,15w)
Pin 2 - (GND) - Ground
Pin 3 - (TPB-) - Pair B-
Pin 4 - (TPB+) - Pair B+
Pin 5 - (TPA-) - Pair A-
Pin 6 - (TPA+) - Pair A+

Firewire/i.link 4 Pin Connector - Found on most camcorders or digital equipment
Pin 1 - (TPB-) - Pair B-
Pin 2 - (TPB+) - Pair B+
Pin 3 - (TPA-) - Pair A-
Pin 4 - (TPA+) - Pair A+

For Firewire/i.link 9 pin connector (IEEE 1394b - Firewire 800)
Pin 1 - (TPB-) - Pair B-
Pin 2 - (TPB+) - Pair B+
Pin 3 - (TPA-) - Pair A-
Pin 4 - (TPA+) - Pair A+
Pin 5 - (TPAR) - Pair A Ground Ref.
Pin 6 - (VG) - Power Ground
Pin 7 - (SC) - Status Contact (Reserved NC)
Pin 8 - (VP) - Power (12-25V DC, 15W)
Pin 9 - (TPBR) - Pair B Ground Ref.

I hope this info is helpful to you and anyone else who wanted to know...
