1. I have recently purchased a new case that has USB ports in the front (for USB ports 3 and 4)
2. The case has two cables connected to the USB Ports.
3. The cable ends are seperated into single pin connectors, each one labled:
  • USB 3 POWER
  • USB 3 +
  • USB 3 -
  • USB 3 Ground
(as opposed to the familiar 4-block or 3-block configuration as seen in most reset/powerLED/HDLED connectors where each of the wires are already arranged in the order they should plug into the motherboard)
4. I have an ECS K7S5A SiS 735 Motherboard, which does have pins to plug USB Ports 3 and 4.

Can somebody give me an idea how I should plug these pins in?

Check your motherboard manual for an auxiliary USB 3 & 4 connector on the mobo. My Asus has a pin block for that with 9 pins in a 10-pin fixture. It is called USBPORT. It is turned on and off in BIOS. The pins are:

o USB Power .o USB Power
o USBP3- .......o USBP2-
o USBP3+ .....o USBP2+
o GND ............o GND
........................o NC (not connected)

Your mobo manual should have a similar layout/chart. ??

There is no layout chart in the manual, nor does EliteGroup (manufacturer of my mobo) have any further documentation on their website

in ASCII text, here is the configuration on the mobo
